How is travel fee calculated?
For local moves within Cookeville, we have a flat travel fee. For moves throughout the region, we charge based on distance from our base. No worries however. The fuel charge never exceeds 50$.
What's included in the rate?
All that is included is the service charge (load, unload, full move) & a fuel charge. If there are risk changing items, such as a Safe or Piano, there will be a charge added as well for risk securement and preparation. This charge never exceeds 300$ at the very most. For standard safes around 500 lbs, you would be looking at a 100$ add on for packing, relocation, and placement of the item.
